Installing composer globally on Cloudlinux with CageFS

Log in to your server via SSH with a user that has root access.

Run the following to download and install composer as well as move it to a global directory

If you are not using CageFS you are complete, however if you are using CageFS you must complete the following…

First startup vim with a new config file “/etc/cagefs/conf.d/composer.cfg” to edit (you may use nano or pico instead of the below command)

After opening the new file paste in the content below and then save and close the file

Lastly we need to update CageFS, run the following
