Stop polygons from filling when calculating Ratnest or calculating shortest airwires

When routing a board in Eagle CAD it can be extramely annoying when you have some polygons set and then decide to run the Calculate Shortest Airwires button to clean up your ratnest.  Usually the polygons get filled and you can no longer see what you are trying to route on your board.  The easiest way to stop this is to run this command which will stop the polygons from filling when calculating the shortest air wires.

If you have forgotten to run this command and are stuck with your polygons filled.  I find the easiest way to solve this is to run the “Bend a line” command or button.  Then just click on your polygon outlines but don’t actually add a bend.  This will be enough to clear the fill.
